Excellent, thank you for allowing us to hire your lovely home. We hired for my wife's 40th birthday celebrations and it was just what we were looking for!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Deerclose Farmhouse. The property is very well equipped and ideal for our large family gathering. The owner was extremely helpful in ensuring that the property was set up to suit our needs before our arrival and took the time to contact us to ensure we had everything we needed. The location is very picturesque and convenient for exploring the area.
L. Nicholson ( March 2025 - Deerclose West Farmhouse)

This house has everything you need. From the personal touches of welcoming drinks to all your needs taken care of. We were a group of 8 friends and we all unanimously agreed we’d come back. Great location and easy to walk into town. Fabulous. 10/10
C. Smyth (Edengrove - November 2024)
Just home from staying in tayview perthshire. A beautiful house with everything provided for a great break. It was an 80th birthday celebration so 11 family members were all ages and the house had something to suit everyone. Hot tub games. Very convenient for shops eating places etc.
E. Mcnamara (January 2025 - Tayview)
This is a wonderful house in a small Scottish town. The living room was cozy, with a wood burning stove.
There was also central heating Everyone in Aberfeldy was friendly and helpful, but we Americans seemed to
be a bit of a novelty.
R. Bishop (November 2024 - Edengrove)
We were all
eagerly looking forward to our weekend in Tayview and were not disappointed when we arrived. The Victorian
villa was very clean throughout and welcoming and warm. The kitchen dining area was very large with a hugh
table capable of seating all of us (12) in comfort and the equipment in the kitchen for food storage,
preparation, cooking and washing up was exactly what we needed for our early 'Xmas' weekend.
Throughout the house the sitting rooms and bedrooms were nicely decorated and well presented with a theme
running through them. The beds were extremely comfortable. Killin is a good area for walking and there a
few nice pubs to rest in before returning to ease tired bodies in the hot tub . We were lucky on the
weekend we visited as it snowed adding a touch of Xmas to our visit. As a result of the snow and rain the
Falls of Dochart were spectacular. We had a great weekend
W. Thompson (November 2024 -

Amazing property, perfect size for the 12 of us. We had a lovely weekend thank you! The views are
amazing!!
J Mccarthy-scarsbrook (December 2024 - Deerclose West Farmhouse)
Great accommodation, in a beautiful setting. One of the best equipped we've ever stayed at and a
very nice welcome pack on arrival. Lovely walks straight from the door. Would highly recommend Deerclose
West Farmhouse.
P. Wallais (November 2024 - Deerclose West Farmhouse)
An outstanding cottage - very well equipped, beautiful views and lots of parking. Had a lovely
stay.
H. Cooper (October 2024 - Deerclose West Farmhouse)
The house was absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable. We loved that there was two rooms downstairs as
two of the party has physical disabilities. It is a very spacious place and a lovely large garden
especially if you have a dog.
Nicola (October 2024 - Edengrove)
My family and I recently stayed for a week at Edengrove and it was absolutely perfect for what we were
looking for. Spacious, clean and extremely well equipped. The location is ideal, very close to the centre
but also very quiet. The layout suited us really well with two bedrooms and a shower room with walk in
shower on the ground floor which were used by my elderly mum and my sister-in-law who had two dogs and the
upstairs bedroom and shower room used by the rest of us. The large dining room was great for family meals
and board games. The owner Jimmy popped in to check everything was okay when we arrived and was extremely
helpful with a couple of issues we had (not to do with the accommodation) I would definitely use this
accommodation if we return to Aberfeldy. Thanks for everything Jimmy.
L. Culbert (September

Had a fabulous stay in this magnificent house. There were 18 of us children adults and dogs and there was
everything we needed. Kitchen fully equipped, bedrooms and views wow. Bedrooms are fabulous , towels
included. Hot tub, football table which adults and kids had great fun. Spotlessly clean , beautiful views
and close to Main Street.

A. Mclellan (May 2024 - Tayview)
Beautiful cottage, functional and with lots of amenities. It is ideally located, superb view of the Loch.
Contact with managers is perfect.
Elisabeth (August 2024 - Newton Hall)
We stayed at Edengrove as a party of 9 +1 dog and found the property to be nice and spacious for all of
us. It was the ideal base for exploring Aberfeldy and the wider area. Lots of amenities are just a short
walk away. The back garden was a hit with us all especially for sitting out in the sun on an afternoon and
was great for our water fight! Also lots of space to hang our wetsuits and towels etc after spending the
day on Loch Tay. We look forward to returning in the future.
C. Purvis (July 2024 -
Edengrove)
Location exceptional for a variety of outdoor activities in and around Killin - walking, canoeing and
biking from the doorstep. Accommodation excellent even at full occupancy (18 people). The large open
kitchen/dining room was especially good for socialising and was well suited to our system of having
different cooking groups each night. We occasionally used the 2 lounges, but we did not use the hot tub or
TVs - because there was so much else to do.
R. Greenaway (May 2024 - Tayview)
Great place for all 10 of us to stay for a friend’s wedding. Plenty of facilities for us to use, good big
table for us all to gather round and have a good laugh! Very clean and just as described on Sykes cottages
website.
H. Barclay (June 2024 - Edengrove)
We needed a sizeable property to allow fifteen of us to get together for our family celebration and
Tayview suited us perfectly. The large open-plan kitchen/diner enabled us to bring in a chef and his team
to prepare a special birthday dinner. The house was warm and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Killin is
superbly located for walks and hikes and even a game of golf on the little jewel of a course on the edge
of the village. We came from North, East and West and the village was central for all of us. A great
weekend for young and old!
A. Smth (March 2024 - Tayview)
We had a wonderful week at Newton Hall - it was perfect for our big family gathering of 14 adults, 2
teenagers and 2 toddlers. It has plenty of spacious, comfortable bedrooms, modern en-suite bathrooms and a
huge dining table that we could all sit around. The kitchen is a good size and really well equipped. The
location is fabulous, with beautiful views across Loch Fyne and shops and restaurants no more than 10
minutes walk away. The host looked after us really well. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would
definitely recommend it!
Liz (July 2024 - Newton Hall)
Lovely big house with stunning views. We were a family group and it suited us very well. The house was
spotlessly clean and well presented with good furnishings. The kitchen is well equipped for a large group
e.g. 3 cafetieres. Hope to stay again.
D. Pinkett (July 2024 - Deerclose West
Farmhouse)
2 nights in this lovely home, 12 of us plus 2 dogs. First off the whole house was very clean and the
bathrooms were immaculate. Lovely rooms throughout the property and the kitchen/diner is superb to get
everyone together. Kids loved the hot tub and I loved the wee bottle of Aberfeldy. Nice touch. Killin is a
lovely place with great walks by the loch and the falls of dochart are impressive. Overall we had a lovely
family break and making memories in this lovely home. Also got a call from a lovely woman half way through
our stay to ask if everything was to our satisfaction. It's the little things

Just back from a fantastic family trip staying at Edengrove in Aberfeldy to celebrate our mam’s 80th
birthday in an area we all spent our annual summer holidays as kids. We selected Edengrove because of its
spacious accommodation, bedroom/bathroom on the ground floor for our parents, ideal location/distance from
local amenities and for it’s general appeal from the photos on AirBnB. We weren’t disappointed with the
property which suited us perfectly but also appreciated the thoughtful touches on arrival and personal
contact from Jimmy and the team before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend for large family
group, friends or couples needing a comfortable and peaceful base within reach of the most beautiful
scenery. The house itself has everything you could need, particularly in terms of the kitchen, but we also
made good use of the large dining table for after dinner games (selection of these available) and just
laughed and laughed. Thank you to Jimmy and Unique!
Lisa (May 2024 - Edengrove)
We are a walking club that has a week in Scotland every year. We found the location ideal for bagging
Munros in the area with just short car drives to the starts. There was the benefit of having the Coop a
walk away meaning we didn’t have to bring all our food with us. The kitchen and dining table worked well
with more than enough space for everyone to eat together. The facilities in the kitchen are well thought
through for cooking with larger groups. The rooms were comfortable with good flexibility on how the house
can be setup for groups ie doubles and twins. The only challenge was parking, there was just enough but we
did need to shuffle cars in the morning to walk our different routes. Great house in a great location and
one we would definitely head back to to finish the Munros.
B. Moses (June 2024 -

Brilliant the wifi was not an issue as there was so much to do and discover great to get away from the
rat race and enjoy the beautiful countryside would deffo advise this property for the family to get away
from the norm loved it.
S. Carrick (January 2024 - Deerclose West Farmhouse)
A fabulous place to stay. All bedrooms are spacious, well appointed and the house was very clean. Kitchen
is very well-equipped with everything you need to cater for a large group. We had no problems with hot
water, heating or wi-fi. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this beautiful property. Our visit in
February was blessed with dry sunny weather and Killin is a lovely place to explore.

(February 2024 - Tayview)
The house was fabulous and perfect for all our needs, well equipped, warm and comfortable with stunning
views. We were a group of 13 friends celebrating milestone birthdays and the lounges were great sociable
spaces, as was the open plan kitchen dining area. Lovely walks from the doorstep too if you didn’t want to
drive anywhere. We loved it, thank you.
K. Tidmarsh (June 2024 - Deerclose West
Farmhouse)
Great getaway for our group of friends and babies, well equipped and great location. Host was very
friendly and accommodating. Thank you!
Vicky (May 2024 - Edengrove)
This is the second time we took the family to Deerclose Cottage, and it was just as good as last time.
The house is amazing and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. There were lots of lovely little touches
like fresh flowers, complimentary tea and coffee, bottles of Prosecco and gin. Every last detail was
catered for, and we had a wonderful stay.
All communication between myself and the agents was
excellent. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you, once again for letting us stay in this
wonderful house.
J. Reidy (July 2024 - Deerclose West Farmhouse)
Wonderful home. Well planned out. Will definitely be coming back
Laura (February 2024 -

We are just back from a big family long weekend at West End Farm and there aren't any words that
could do justice to the beauty of the house and grounds. The house itself is magnificent but has been
decorated and equipped to the absolute highest standards. Every single want and need has been considered
from wonderfully equipped kitchen (coffee machine to die for), the elegant bar area, the stunning lounge
and the dining table set perfectly for us on arrival. There were flowers left in several rooms, a stunning
welcome hamper with many treats, bottles of fizz and a fridge full of cold beers in the bar. Robes in the
rooms, wonderful beds and bedding, literally everything was perfect. We were greeted on arrival and
departure by Duncan who showed us how everything works, was so welcoming and even wrapped up our flowers
at the end of our stay for us to take home. I expected from this pictures that this would be a special
places but in reality it's breathtaking. Thank you for the most amazing break...we will be back!
Sarah and all our family!

Our stay at Tayview was truly amazing. The property was incredibly comfortable, spacious and very well
equipped. The 9 x bedrooms that were all configured to king size doubles gave everyone thier own privacy,
ample space and comfort. (All the rooms can be configured into twins if that is required.) I booked the
property to spend with the whole family and invited friends to join us on the Saturday night to celebrate
my 60th Birthday. The spacious kitchen / dining area ensured the party was a huge success. The hottub made
for a wonderfully relaxing experience for everyone and the games room and games console ensured the
children were kept amused. The nearby co-op provided everything we wanted with regard to food and drinks
and was only a 6 minute stroll from the lodge. I would recommend Tayview to anyone looking for a spacious,
relaxing getaway with family or friends. It was Absolutely Amazing
